Rice Casserole

Rice Casserole I

Ingredients:

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1-2 Tbsp. dried minced onions
  • 1 small can mushrooms (drained and chopped)
  • 1 can consumer soup
  • 1 tsp. bouillon (instant; dissolved in soup can of warm water)
  • 1 cup raw rice

Directions:

Melt margarine in greased casserole. Add remaining ingredients; stir. Bake in 350 degree F oven for 1 hour.

Rice Casserole II

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 lg. onion
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 qt. chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 soup cans of water
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Directions

Fry meat. Add celery and onion. Cook rice in chicken broth, then add the rest of the ingredients. Pour into a 2 qt. casserole dish and bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees F.
