Rice Casserole I
- 1 stick margarine
- 1-2 Tbsp. dried minced onions
- 1 small can mushrooms (drained and chopped)
- 1 can consomme' soup
- 1 tsp. bouillon (instant; dissolved in soup can of warm water)
- 1 cup raw rice
Melt margarine in greased casserole. Add remaining ingredients; stir. Bake in 350 degree F oven for 1 hour.
Rice Casserole II
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 lg. onion
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 qt. chicken broth
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 1/2 soup cans of water
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Fry meat. Add celery and onion. Cook rice in chicken broth, then add the rest of the ingredients. Pour into a 2 qt. casserole dish and bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees F.

Yes, I'd also like to know what consumer soup is. Was it perhaps a misprint?

Eight years since the last feedback, and I still don't see the explanation of "consumer soup." The recipe has just been re-posted, and looks good and easy except for that soup! Please, what is it?
