Cure for Cheap Earrings That Irritate Your Skin
If wearing "cheap" holiday earrings irritates your pierced ears, put a dab of antibiotic ointment on your ear, front and back, before inserting earrings.

Before wearing the earrings you could try a clear coat of finger nail polish on the posts, it will dry fast and may prevent the allergy.I have seen something similiar in jewelry departments.Kersti
