Hi, I have had a very similar problem with my counter top and there is no known repair that I know of. I suggest that you go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy a sheet of laminate. You can buy some adhesive and apply to the old countertop and just stick the new one down. The new laminate cost approx. $40.00 per sheet. You could also apply tiles. Hope this helps. Thanks, Pammy58

We are renting a home and my curling iron recently left a burn mark on my bathroom counter top. Can this be removed with anything?

Try Barkeepers Friend. It's found by the Comet and Ajax cleanser. It may lift some of the burnt.
