Easy Cherry Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 can red cherries with juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk

Directions

Melt margarine in 8 inch square dish. Beat flour, sugar, milk and baking powder with mixer. Pour into melted margarine. Do not stir. Pour can of cherries in center. Do not stir. Pour 1/2 cup sugar on top of cherries. Do not stir. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes or until top is browned. Cherries end up on the bottom. Serve with ice cream.
