Keep Bacon from Shrinking

Tired of that pound of bacon shrinking away to virtually nothing? Shake the strips in a little flour and fry away. Stops shrinkage!

Since there are only two of us, I freeze serving portions of bacon. I cook it right from the freezer. I find cooking slowly keeps the bacon straight and from shrinking.

Dipping each bacon slice in COLD water will keep them from shrinking.
