Easy Fudge

This fudge is so good and so easy! It is the only fudge recipe that I know will turn out great.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk (for an even more indulgent version, use chocolate flavored sweetened condensed milk.)

Directions:

Place chips and milk in microwave safe bowl. Microwave on medium power for 2-3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Microwave, stirring at 1 minutes intervals, until chips are melted and mixture is smooth and thick. Pour into greased 8 inch square pan and cool. You can also melt the chips and milk in a heavy saucepan over low heat

Recipe: Easy Fudge or Fudge Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1 large chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups sugar
  • milk

Directions

Put pudding mix in pan; add 2 cups sugar; mix. Add milk until stirable (1/3 cup approximately). Slow boil for 3-5 minutes until starts to thicken. Take off heat; add 2 tablespoons butter; stir. When warm spoon over cake. Will harden like fudge. Or put in buttered pan for fudge.

RE: Easy Fudge or Fudge Frosting

This sounds great! I usually don't like store bought frosting, so I'm looking forward to making this one. Thank you! (01/29/2009)
