I'm not sure what to do. I wanted to invite a lot of people to my house, but my parents don't want it to be held here. They suggested going to Skate Away, but I wanted to have a disco. Are there any places I can have a disco that won't cost a lot?

I would check in your area at some local churches to see if they could allow you to use some of the classrooms for this.
You could also check around at some clubs in your area. They might have a place where senior citizen meet that you could rent for the afternoon.
Also check online in your area if they rent out space for the afternoon or evening for a birthday party. Check there and call to see how much this one would cost.
