Basic Quiche Recipe

A plate with two slices of quiche.I use this basic quiche recipe and then add various ingredients to it to make a variety of different quiches.

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 55 minutes

Total Time: 1 1/2 hours

Yield: Six servings.

Ingredients:

Steps:

  1. Blend milk and eggs into blender. Pour into pie shell.
  2. Blended ingredients for quiche.
     
  3. Sprinkle with cheese (I used 1 to 2 cups). Add meat. I used some leftover Canadian bacon but you could use any kind of meat you might have leftover from another meal.
  4. A quiche with ham and cheese.
     
  5. In a frying pan, add a little olive oil and saute onion. Add some steamed vegetables and saute for a few minutes. (I used broccoli and cauliflower).
  6. Cooking broccoli in a frying pan.

  7. Add vegetables to quiche. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes until done. Serve.
  8. Baking the quiche in the oven.
