Bathing a Dog to Get Rid of Flea Dip Odor?

I had my rescue dog dipped for fleas and bathed at the vet and now he has a chemical odor. When can I re-bathe him?
Thanks in advance!

You can give him a dry or wet bath with baking soda as this is what is recommended by most vets and the ASPCA.
You can also use corn starch or a mixture of baking soda and corn starch. Sprinkle it all over but be careful of face/eyes.
Rub it in and then let him shake and then brush it out.
You can give him a wet bath in a few days but just use baking soda mix with water and no shampoo.

Bathing him right now could lower his resistance to catching an effect of deworming , making protection not as affective to your pet, leaving him more open to harm. You may want to check with your Vet. - www.animalwised.com/how-long-after-flea-treatment-can...

If you mix equal parts of baking soda with corn starch and sprinkle this on the dog it will get rid of the order. When dogs have had an operation and stitches you can't bathe the dog. I do this and it works well to get rid of this order.

I would not give the dog a bath because the product they used won't work any longer. Just use this dry shampoo mixture to get rid of the order.
