This is an easy to whip up healthy side vegetable dish or could be mixed into quinoa! It is much faster to cook these yellow eye heirloom beans in an Instant Pot because it is much quicker versus the stove but you can still use the stove to achieve this dish.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 40 minutes
Total Time: 50 minutes + natural release
Yield: Varies depending if this will be eaten as a side dish or mixed into quinoa.
Very easy and a lot of protein.
Do not drain green beans, put entire can into a medium size sauce pan. Add the 1/2 cup beef broth and the can of condensed been with bacon soup. Mix all together and bring to a boil. Immediately reduce temperature to low/med setting cover and cook for additional 10 minutes. Stir several times, yum, yum! Quick easy and full of protein.
10 grams protein from green beans, and 9 grams protein from bean with bacon.
