- White always makes a space/room look larger than it is. I always think incorporating mirrors make a space look bigger than it really is also.
- Blue, or green, even yellow would look nice.
- Also declutter or a minimalist style would make your room look larger than it really is too.

Light colors make a room look larger. I would paint the room a cream color.

Normally a white or off white i the best choice to do this. You can always add a border around your walls of another color to tie the rest of your colors in.
