I have a shadow box that I want to glue shells onto. The backing of the shadow box is a thin material. Gorilla glue did not hold the shells. What kind of glue would be best for gluing the shells to this material?

Try Aleenes Jewel-It. Michaels usually has it. You will have to read to find the one that is for fabric and hard to hold items.
I like Crazy Glue.
I've always found that Bison kiit glue works for everything here. I can glue anything with this glue and it sticks. Try this I think you can get it at any hardware store. That is where I buy mine.
