I was wondering if my zebra finch gets out of the aviary and has babies in the nest if I leave the door open will they come back to the nest? I am feeling a bit freaked out about my babies.

I would leave the door closed. The safety of the babies is too important.
If the birds are in the aviary, leave them in there. Don't open the door and let them out and expect them to come back to the nest. If they have babies in the nest now they will stay close and take care of them.
