Normally for dolls I recommend eBay or Etsy but when things are from places, like Australia we (me in Pittsburgh) don't always get international feeds for things...I used to, but something is wonky in my settings and I can't get international listings any more.

There are none for sale in the US eBay at the moment or Etsy. I can check back periodically and let you know if that changes.

You can put wanted notices on your Craig's list (this site allows you to pick the sites that serve your area):geo.craigslist.org/.../au

You can also post notices in your local newspaper wanted sections also.

Do you frequent swap meets or flea markets? They (at least in PA) are great places to find dolls!!!

They are lovely dolls. I have never seen one, so I am curious to hear if you are able to locate them. Did you go to school there? What year are they from? What is the composition of the body (is it cotton or plastic? Forgive my 20 questions....I love dolls and always want to learn about ones I have never seen

Sadly in the US there are a glut of Porcelain Dolls, but they were all part of a marketing campaign by large doll makers starting in the 1970s to cash in on the then HUGE market for antique dolls. They were sold as collectibles...and now are just things that take up space and people want rid of. It is sad!

I am always excited when I see someone looking for a specific doll!!! GOOD LUCK in your quest!!

Please share back if you are able to locate them!

Good luck!!

Hello, thank you for your detailed reply. My daughter goes to PLC in Sydney. They have a few different versions of that doll in a locked glass cabinet and I have always admired them. I thought it would be a great gift to get for my daughter. She currently has 2 other porcelain dolls that my mum has purchased for her as gifts and they are absolute treasures!

However, it seems this PLC doll is extremely difficult to locate. I will keep searching and let you know how I go. Thanks again

I would put an alert on eBay or etsy.
