I have a Food Saver V4400 series vacuum sealer. I need an unusual repair. The sealer works great and it still seals very well. The problem is, I cannot open the pull out drip tray, it's closed tight and I cannot get it open. It is no longer under warranty so I cannot send it back to FoodSaver.

Try WD-40 and use the red tube. Practice first so you know how it works. Then put the tube with can right into the tray spaces that need to be loosened and spray quickly down the edge fast because so much spray comes out an once

What is unbit and what is cabncel. I can not get it to open what to clean
Those are typos. It should say "unit" and "cancel". I've fixed the original comment.
