Caring for a Puppy with Parvo?

My dog has been diagnosed with parvo. He has now stopped passing bloody stool and vomiting after 3 days, but has a rattle in his chest like a cold and slime falling from his mouth. Is he still in danger and what should I do? He is not eating so we try to feed him with a syringe. He is very weak. Tell me will he die?

I would be concerned about the rattle too. He may have another infection in addition to the parvo. Please contact the vet.

This requires a vet ASAP!! Parvo can be totally curable if the pup gets the right care, I personally know a survivor pup who is now 3 and happy go lucky. Let us know what the vet says. I will send up lots of prayers for your pup.

Your puppys chances depend a lot on whether he gets the right care or not. He needs to see a Vet immediately.

You can nurse him at home, but you will need instructions and supplies from the Vet.
