  • 1 can pie cherries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 package cherry gelatin (3 oz.)
  • 1 can crushed pineapple (20 oz.)
  • 1/2 cup nuts, chopped


Put cherries, juice and all, in saucepan with the sugar. Bring to a boil. Add cherry gelatin; stir well. Add pineapple and nuts. Chill. Make the day before so it will gel.

  • 1 package raspberry Jello
  • 2 cup boiling water
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 package lemon Jello
  • 1 package cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup frozen Cool Whip
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped pecans


Dissolve raspberry Jello in 1 cup boiling water. Stir in pie filling. Put in 9x9 inch square pan. Chill until firm. Dissolve lemon Jello in remaining hot water. In small bowl, beat cream cheese with mayonnaise until smooth. Gradually add lemon gelatin. Stir in pineapple with juice and marshmallows. Chill until partially set (wiggles a little). Fold in Cool Whip and smooth over raspberry Jello. Double recipe for 9x13 inch pan.

This is a favorite of my husband. Possibly the easiest salad I have ever made! Very good!


  • 2 pkgs. strawberry gelatin (3oz. size)
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 can crushed pineapple (20oz)
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1 cup cold water


Dissolve gelatin in the hot water. Mix in the pie filling, pineapple and cold water. Refrigerate.

This recipe comes from my daughter and I've not yet had a chance to try it, but it sure sounds like a Blue Ribbon winner.



In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in the pie filling, apples and celery. Refrigerate for 30 minutes, or until thoroughly chilled.

Yield: 8 to 10 servings
