Cleaning Gas Stove Burner?

I guess I had the flame too high on the burner. Now it's black and brown. I have used the things suggested, but cannot get it off. Can someone help me. Thanks.

Have you tried making a paste of baking soda and water? Use it like you would cleanser. Also, you might want to try a credit card as a scraper if the burn is thick like burned on food. But as jeff Campbell from the Clean Team warns, always use a plastic scraper with liquid like water to prevent scratching. The water works as a lubricant.

Good luck

Use a low grade sand paper.
