Silver Post Medal for All Time! 418 Posts

The completed paint brush covers.I found a good use for all those political ads and other ads I have received in the mail. I pulled one out of my recycling paper. The size and thickness was perfect for making the paint brush cover that I needed. I had one that I liked and I traced it.

Supplies:

Steps:

  1. For a pattern, lay the sample on the paper. With the Sharpie, trace the sample. Mark for the folds. Cut it out.
  2. Tracing the cover shape onto the paper.

  3. Use a ruler or a sharp straight edge to make the folds.
  4. Folding the brush cover.

  5. Fold and crease back and forth another time to make the folds limber.
  6. Folding the brush cover.

    The brush cover unfolded.

  7. Now you have a nice paint brush cover.
  8. Placing the paint brush on top of the cover.

Folding the cover around the paint brush bristles.
