Crock Pot Chicken Pot Pie

A plate of crockpot chicken pot pie.Easy meal to throw together in a crockpot made from mostly frozen ingredients and canned items.



  • 1 lb chicken breasts, cut up into chunks
  • 1 pkg. frozen green peas and carrots
  • 1/3 cup frozen onions, chopped
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 pkg. refrigerated biscuits
Ingredients for making chicken pot pie.


  1. Cut chicken breasts into bite-size pieces. Place in crockpot with frozen vegetables, soup, and water. Add seasonings. Stir thoroughly.
  2. Adding chicken to the pot pie mixture.
  3. Cook in crockpot for four hours. At the end of cooking time, add l/3 cup flour to mixture if it needs to be thickened. Stir thoroughly. Break each refrigerated biscuit dough into four chunks and add to top of chicken pot pie mixture.
  4. The crockpot full of cooked chicken pot pie ingredients.

  5. Continue cooking on crockpot for another hour. If desired, remove crockpot to oven and bake at 350 degrees F to brown and crisp the top of the biscuits (about 15 minutes)
