I mixed garnet and fuchsia hair colors and it came out a bit too fuchsia. I would like to darken it up to achieve a burgundy like color with less fuchsia . Can I put a darker color over my hair to achieve the results I'm looking for? And if so, what color do you suggest? The left pic is what it turned out like the right pic is what I'm trying to achieve.

Go to a beauty supply store for color guidance. Make sure you do a strand test to make sure you are happy with the color.
I'd highly suggest a warm brown overtone colour like this one:

It is semi permanent so if you change your mind later on, you wont have to strip it, but it lasts long. This is a great brand, too!
