We are a small indie footwear brand based in NYC. Our brand is called Triesti. We have around 200 or so empty shoe boxes and would like to donate them. Any ideas who takes these kind of donations?

This sounds like a neat charity in your town. Maybe you could donate there and give good karma to the shoe boxes and get your brand name out too (happy bonus):
You can check with local charities or churches if they'd want the empty shoe boxes.
Or even local schools like the art department or after school programs if they can use it for anything, or for crafts.
There are several charity organizations and churches that use shoe boxes year round. Churches are just now getting geared up for Operation Christmas so many of these would love to have shoe boxes to use.
