Duck Not Sitting on Eggs

My magpie duck has laid 16 eggs one every day since January 1st, but she doesn't sit on them. She is only a year old. Will she sit or should I collect them?

She will start sitting when she has laid the last egg. Don't worry.

She has laid so many. I thought she would have sat by now. I now have 17 eggs. Just a nervous New breeder I guess.

I don't know if you are raising the for fun or profit, but you may want to take a class on duck raising. This one is for profit, but there are others online about raising them for fun:

Try your local home extension office to help you learn all the best care techniques and how to manage eggs:

Post back how things go with the feathered crew!! Prayers for lots of healthy ducklings!!!
