Easy Apple DumplingsI thought I'd share this delicious dessert that I used to make when my kids were home on snow days. It soothed the senses twice by filling the house with the smell of warm baking apples that we would enjoy after shoveling snow or sleigh riding.

Enjoy!

Total Time: 45 minutes

Yield: 8

Ingredients:

Easy Apple Dumplings

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a square baking pan. Peel and core apples, cut into fourths. Open and separate dough.
  2. Wrap each apple section in a crescent roll. I stretch them a little to cover the apple but some apple can stick out.

  10. Bake 30 minutes or until crust is golden and beginning to bubble and apples are tender when pierced with a fork.
  11. Spoon syrup over apples and serve, with or without ice cream.

Yum!
