Easy Sock Top Mug Sleeve

Bronze Tip Medal for All Time! 59 Tips

A sleeve on a mug.I used a child's sock and cut it off where the ribbing ended and made a mug sleeve. I did add a little embroidery but it's just fine as is, if you just want a basic sleeve for your mug. Super easy and a cute little protector for your hands.

I use 8-10 oz bottles for water that fit in my purse. A baby sock works to keep the moisture on the cold bottle (it is half ice because I keep them in my freezer) from wetting anything in my purse.

Good idea re: sock for cold bottles. (I'll be heating beverages for my Mom during the holidays...so this metal mug will go on a little cup warmer for her. :-))
