Does anyone know where to find the value of a complete set of Winston's Cumulative Loose-Leaf Encyclopedias? The set has the original advertising departments contract with hand written payment agreement to the recipient. It was sold in 1922 to a couple in Whittier California. It also contains the coupons for 10 years of annual revision inserts.
Winston's Encyclopedias around 1918 are listed on Abe's Books for $2.99 each book. You can search Abe's Books, EBay, Craig's List, etc. for other possibilities.
I want to know how much I would get for the encyclopedia set that I have. They are Winston Cumulative Loose-leaf. We have 10 of them. It says they are protected under United States patent rights of August 27 1918, June 4 1907 Dominion of Canada rights of June 24 1919.
Your books may have some value, allthough it appears the values are very low. Abe Books has them for about $2.50 per book. You can research further on the net or the site below.
