Food too Salty?

I have made a crockpot dish and it is too salty. Is there anything I can do to improve the taste?

This is an old method....throw in a couple of uncooked potatoes and cook your dish at least 30 or more if you can get by with it. Remove and discard the potatoes. Don't know if it works, never tried it.

If the potato remedy does not work, make another batch of whatever it was that you made in your crockpot, leaving out any salt or salty ingredient. Mix the 2 batches together. You will probably have lots of leftovers to freeze for later!

Try the peeled potato chunks work great... add more potatoes!
