I love these little pill boxes they give out free at the pharmacy in Walmart where I get my prescriptions filled. They are white with raised letters and very good quality.
To make the weekday letters more visible, I color them with a permanent marker.

I have 4 pill boxes that I use daily. On each box I have the time of day, I take these pills, written on tape. Breakfast, 4:00, supper and bedtime. The 4:00 time is the one I have the most problems remembering, so I set the alarm on my phone to remind me.
I take a lot of pills and on the pill bottle, I have written the time of the day I take them so I will know which box to put them in. I also have a list that I check to make sure I have filled the boxes correctly.
All this helps this old lady to do it right.
I put four weeks of pills together at one time. I have three pillboxes per week. Upstairs I have one box with pills I take at bedtime and when I wake. Downstairs I have one for pills I take with breakfast and dinner and one for pills I take only with breakfast.
