I have a George Foreman Contact Roaster that was given to me by a dear friend as a gift. When I opened it, it has no instructions or cookbook to go with it and it was the only one they had at the store. Can someone contact me with any information on how to work it and some recipes. I would really be so thankful. I would love to try it out, but don't know how.

This is a wonderfully simple machine to use. We mostly use it to make whole chickens/capons/cornish hens. Season the bird as you would to roast in an oven. For really great flavor, stuff the bird with fresh herbs and veggies! It will not take as long to cook in the GF Roaster as it does in a regular oven, so the best tip you could get is use a meat themometer to check for doneness. It is not great for very lean roasts because then can tend to dry out, but if you are diligent about basting, it should turn out well. We baked potatoes in it once and they turned out very well. Nice crunch to the skin and very flaky on the inside! If you marinate your fish, you could bake them in this as well, again the key to all of this is to use a thermometer, at least until you get used to it! Good Luck!
