Getting Rid of Gnats in Kitchen and Bath?

Getting Rid of Gnats in Kitchen and BathI have gnats in my bathrooms and kitchen. I have tried to vinegar and dish soap in a glass. I have been doing this for almost 2 weeks. The solution works, but the gnats are getting worse. The gnats are brown. Are they sewer gnats? What do I need to do to get rid of them?

Put mashed bananas in a bowl. Cover with plastic wrap. Make very small holes. This will trap them.

Put a bowl with bleach and water in your bathroom sink.

Pour red wine in a jar.

If it is getting bad, you may have to use an insect fogging product.

Since your gnat killing solution is not working, give these a shot:

  • Pour bleach down your drains.
  • Place rotten fruits into a jar to attract to attract them, then spray them with bug spray.

  • Left over wine is a good trap.
  • Mash a banana in a jar, cover with plastic wrap and poke little holes on top.
  • You may need an insect fogging product if they're getting out of control. Here is a good one: www.webstaurantstore.com/.../999CB815901.html?utm_source=Google...

I got rid of a fruit fly problem by using a vacuum with a long wand. Just use the wand without any attachments at the end. Gnats usually fly around a light or lamp post, so nighttime may be the best time catch them. Are you sure they are gnats? they may be fruit flies. Either way, I hope the vacuuming works for you.
