Getting Super Glue Off Glasses

I used nail polish remover and it came right off the eye glasses. Any ordinary nail polish remover will work.

Editor's Note: This tip is only for glass lenses without any protective coating. Nail polish remover will damage plastic lenses.

I got smudges, (Super Glue) on both lenses, and din't have Acetone available! (I haven't colored My nails in years and years, not even as an infant!) Well, I bought some NP Remover in a few days, and no matter how long I rubbed, no luck whatsoever! Ruined forever! Not as a result of NP Remover, but as a result of waiting too long! One thing I must add to that rec' is.

Start washing the Glasses immediately with Acetone, don't wait! I did try water immediately, but that SG is as tough as nails! What else could guys use, not Gasoline, as all my Gasoline is in the Gas tank where it is supposed to be! Hey, I do have Red wine, that might work!! More suggestions please? TOM...........
