Hair Did Not Get Light Enough When Dyed Blond?

I colored my hair for the first time. I am light brown and wanted blonde. It's lighter, but not bright blonde. Can I recolor it with the same color and get it lighter?

When you want to go from darker to lighter, you need to strip the old color off and deposit the new color. It is not easy to do it yourself.
