The light in my hallway works normally, but when it rains I've noticed it doesn't work then. After the rain the next day or hours later it works again. What could be the problem?

It sounds like water is getting to the wires and shorting them out.

this has happened to me too, and I know for a fact I had a leak on the roof at that time. I'm not sure why or how but I guess moisture can affect some circuits.
