I got my tongue pierced around 8 days ago. There's no pain or swelling, but when I squeeze down on my tongue it's hard, almost like a hard squishy ball inside my tongue, is that normal?

This could just be scar tissue. Wait a week and see if things improve.

In some cases this is normal and can just be scar tissue that is forming after the tongue was pierced. In other cases, this could be some sort of infection that is starting.
