There may be rat or mouse urine under the stove top of the range not in the oven. When I just cooked a chicken my whole house smells like rat or mouse pee and it's horrible. Is it dangerous? I have 2 small doggies.
This is a bad situation for you. Rodent urine can transmit some pretty bad diseases, such as hantavirus. This CDC site provides a list of all the horrible things you can get from rodent urine. www.cdc.gov/
YOu obviously need to up your trapping efforts, and clean that stovetop as much as possible, with bleach.
Rat or mouse urine contaminates everything it touches. On the TV show Hoarders everything gets thrown out. Call an exterminator.
Also have the same problem this year. The mice have made a nice hotel under the glass flat top part where the insulation is. We ended up having to remove all of the insulation, clean it with baking soda and vinegar.
Hi. How did you clean under the glass top? Does it come off? We have the same disgusting problem:(
