It sounds like your Pit Bull is about the right weight for his age. They are any where between 30 to 60 lbs when full grown , and between 18 to 20 inches in height. Life span is 12 to 14 years, so you have many years yet to enjoy your pit Bull.

Your dog is not a pure american pitbull terrier it is a bully mix or has american staffordshire in her bloodline.

That pretty close...some can get up too 100lbs ish but for the most part males range from 45lbs to 70lbs. Females 35lbs to 60lbs. I bred for 10yrs. The bloodline has alot to do with it!

That sounds like a blue blood.. Blue noses stay around the size of a red nose but have a blue coat. Blue Bloods get ALOT bigger.

A 70 to 90lb female is a hefty one but not unusual if she's a blue blood

You are wrong because the American pitbull was created from Staffordshire Terriers and Bulldogs so obviously a pitbull has Staffordshire Terrier in its blood regardless.

My pit is is 70lbs thats over weight should be around 50 lbs we cut his food back so will let you know how that works. How many times are you feeding your pit bull.

This is incorrect info. APBTs where first registered in 1898 by the UKC and are the original. ASTs where first registered by the AKC in 1936. They where dual registered APBTs.

again there is no such thing as a blue nose its just a pitt and more than likely American bully or a bandogge if you don't have papers its a mutt no matter what you say again there are blood lines of pits there is no blue or red nose sometimes they just have blue or red noses the blue in them came from grey hounds

April 12, 20210 found this helpful

again you have no idea what you talking about if your pit is 65 at 6 months its got something else in it that should be its max weight full grown

April 12, 20210 found this helpful

ya but they don't they became there own breed with hounds terriers and bulldogs

One thing could be the type of collars that you are using and by the look of his frame he is more Long legged so some dog is not built for weight my dog my dog was the same way but our girl dog has short legs and is the size of a tank but different body frames

Did you weigh them or are you just guessing? Those look closer to 50lb. But could be really dense.

Any pitbull that 6 months 70lbs is over weight. An adult is between 45/ 60lbs any dog that gets up to 100 is not a pure pit there are other breeds in there

I have a tri-color blue noise American pitbull puppy, and I took him to the vet on 7/15 and he weighed in at 45 lbs and he is only five months old. I asked the vet was he okay and health and they said "yes, he is growing right on track.

He's going to be huge and he's designed to be a puller." I was shocked by this information but I love my baby non the less and I think that helps he's growth and life.

You forgot to mention. Is your Pitbull male or female? If its a female then the weight is slightly less than the average. The average weight of 6 months old female pitbulls are around 49lbs, while the 6 months male pitbulls have around 57 lbs on average. Feed your dog well to achieve the ideal weight, and also keep monitoring the weight.

From here you can monitor the weight of your pitbull age-wise bluenosepitbulldog.com/.../. Try to maintain your dog's weight within the average weight limit. I know your dog must be grown up now. He must be 2-3 years old now, that's why I've mentioned the weight range, so you can monitor the weight of your dog according to his/her age.
