Identifying Tiny Flying Black Insects?

Identifying Tiny Flying Black Insects - closeupI found these insectson my bed recently. They are very tiny like specks of dust, a black colour, and able to fly. And, I think I might have got bitten by them. The bite feels like sharp, piercing pain.

Thank you if anyone could shed a light on what it is, is it harmful, and how to get rid of them. I appreciate all kind advice.

It almost looks like a no see em bug or even a chigger. You can try putting on some mint oil on your skin to stop them from bitting you. I would make a trap or even get some flypaper to try and trap them. You can check with your local pest control company in your area and see what they recommend to spray them with to get them out of your home.

I had an issue with some like you describe. I placed a small container with some apple cider vinegar and a little bit of liquid soap on a window sill near the bed and they drown themselves in it and all were gone in a couple of days. Good luck.

I filled sink with water and had six bugs in the water in the morning, also put a jar of water by my bed and got a few by morning, so I put jars of water all over the house to catch them

Hi, Did you finally come to the conclusions which bug is it & how did you get rid of it.
I have the same kind of bugs at my place.

May 5, 20210 found this helpful

I'm going to try that

Chiggers are mites, and don't fly.

I purchased "Buzz B-Gone," a small indoor electronic zapper (no noise) which can be left plugged in or charged and moved around.
It has a particular light spectrum color (sort of purple) which attracts flying gnats, mosquitoes, etc. It really works. I had one, but ordered 3 more, one for each room.

Today I found an article re drain flies/gnats via google. There is a citrus? non-harmful gel you can buy to treat drains. They also suggested cleaning under stove, refrigerator drain pan, grease filter above cooking stove, treat all drains, food disposal. They say these gnats/larvae like animal fats and decaying organic matter such as in plant pots. The ones I have do "bite," but it didn't hurt but causes itching. I can feel them sort of like a mosquito. Good luck to all.
P.S. I also use human-grade diatomaceous earth (use fine particle mask to cover nose and mouth), Mosquito Bits for treating plant soil (kills larvae). I am a dedicated, no-bug in my house. Mostly because they proliferate, and they make me itch.

If they do watch out because you're in a world for a whole lot of trouble I don't know what they are they say they're flying midgets or something like that but they are horrible because disease and they are a parasite of some type trust me I know cuz it happened to me and it still happened to me and I can't find anybody to help me it's overwheld everything my body my life and everything and I am miserable so please take heat and see if you can get this checked into and taken care of before it gets too late

This is from a parasite. Inside your body. Somewhere you have mold in your house too. Or moisture.
We also share some parasites , worms, with our pets. Particularly dogs. Unfortunately doctors are still being taught that this doesnt happen. Or is rare. Or only happens in other countries. They will call your crazy or accuse you of doing it to yourself. Or even a drug addict. Your not crazy. Your not doing this on purpose or at all.

Its real.
Its takes years to treat. But you can get free of them.
I dont sell anything, but your welcome to contact me through email be sure to put a subject in there bso I know its you. I get a lot of junk mail and rarely use it anymore.
You CAN get well again. Watch your sugar and carb intake. Even fruits.
These usually are worse at nite. Some people feel crawling and itching too some get lesions on their skin where the bites were.
Unfortunately I didnt find that natural things worked that well.
If your doctor will, prescribe a long term antiparasite/ antifungal
Like albendazole or fluconazole or ITRACONAZOLE, DO IT. just say yes. Its slow, all of them are. But, you can get it undercontrol so your not so uncomfortable and then CONTINUE TO TREAT. FOR MONTHS. or get checked for Lyme disease. This is often thot to be secondary to Lyme. Or even the same thing as Lyme, just different stages.

You can treat this and win.
Yes your whole life comes to a STOP from this kind of infestation.
Clean house weekly. Vacuum daily if your able. Get rid of clutter.
Aldo. Make sure you dry your clothes ALL THE WAY. Hot dryer. Same with your hair. Dry it all the way. You dont want slightly wet hair on a warm scalp. Perf3ct breeding ground for them.
Usually, people that get these types of infestation have other low grade chronic health issues.
Thats what makes u attractive to these little buggers.
Theirs are a few spieces.
Bird and rat mites come if you have mold.
They have become a HUGE issue for people too. They are NOT host specific. They dont care if your a rat or a dog or a cat or a bird or a human.
Doctors are still telling people that bird mites can not live on humans. Yes they can and do This was proven by a group of Vetrinarians and MDs in 2009.

But, no one sent a memo out to the rest of the doctors lol.
Get your self a really good sticky lint roller. Use it. Often. Daily
Use it on your bedding nightly and even your body.
Vacuum as tho your life depends on it. You can even vacuum your self lol. For real.
But THROW AWAY or empty the container immediately. Dont keep it to reuse till its full.
The bird mites will crawl out.
DIATOMACEOUS EARTH helps.
Taken internslly. By mouth. and also for pets. a little goes a long way. It can hurt your lungs if your used to much. You dont want a cloud of it. Same for your pets too. Lightly dust them.
Def deworm them.
Contact me and I can tell you how to find parasite and fungus meds if your doctor refuses to acknowledge this.
If you find a good doctor, even they mistakenly will quite prescribing the medicine as SOON as the symptoms stop.

Thats bad.
Because Then it comes back!
Thats because he stopped to soon. You have to CONTINUE TREATING for months. Especially if youve had this for years.
They dont all die at the same time. So they keep reproducing if there still some alive.
Its a problem with doctors.
Take care. Also. Check out the MOLD and MORGELLONS SUPPORT PROTOCOL group on face book. Its private. You will meet thousands of people in various stages of treating.
Learn about the FIRM protocol.
Anti parasite med , LUGOLS iodine red RESHI and magnesium.
The parasite med paralyzes the parasites and other creepy crawlies you may be feeling.
The LUGOLS iodine, also kills parasites and fungus too. Help with brain fog and energy.
Red RESHI is like a sponge. It soaked us all the heavy metals.
Both the iodine and RESHI crystallize some of these poisons so we can poop them out.
Thats what the magnesium oxide does. It makes you poo. So you can get rid of the dead and dying stuff the anti parasites/ fungal meds kill.
If nothing else at least check out the group. You wil find so much support and validation.
One last thing. For years doctors have been taught that morgellons isnt real. Or that people that get bites by invisible bugs, are
Skin pickers. Or delusional.
DOP. DELUSION OF PARASITES.
Its none of those things.
Its a massive parasite infection in the body that attract things to us too. Once you have one bug, all sorts of them start showing up. They can tell your sick. Decay. Sounds horrible. It is. But it is treatable.

You don't have to get rid of your house plants. There are several home remedies for plant gnats, fruit flies, fungus gnats, etc. There's one that uses garlic, ground cloves and something else I can't remember off the top of my head. My friend uses it on her plants and it works. :)

Both yours and op's bugs could very well be midges. They're like mosquitoes and do bite. Some carry disease. But, not all.

Im going through same thing (over 2 years now). Ive been told Im on drugs, its stress, parasitic psychosis!!! Im not crazy and finally today was able to get a good picture (bc they always blur) & video.

Ive visited every Dr I can think of and its awful the treatment Ive received. All tests that have been performed (due to my persistence) have come back negative. I cant explain why, but as Ive told every Dr., I KNOW MY BODY!! These is something wrong and please help me. But after one negative test result they just act like Im crazy.

My whole life has been destroyed bc theses parasites are terrible and completely paralyse you. Im a college
graduate and have worked my entire life, except these last two years.

Hopefully, this medicine

It could be a gnat or chigger. Spray with an all-purpose insecticide.

Hi Judy,

Thank you for your advice

April 6, 20230 found this helpful

They most definitely are not Chiggers. More like flying midgets of some sort. They are carnivores and they let the smell of blood they love blood that's what they live off of and they will bite you in a piercing and it leaves a deep hole in your skin and with that they lay worms or their eggs or whatever so be very aware of what they could do and make sure you get checked by your doctor or by somebody thank you

They Are called Drain Flys.. They come out threw your pipes... They only live for about 48 hours but they have babies like crazy. Block all your drain holes off when not using them

October 19, 20230 found this helpful

These pests you guys are talking about are likely midges, some species of mosquito or another biting fly. There are plenty of ways to get rid of them. A quick internet search would show you a good list to start out with. Please, please, please do not start putting foreign things into your body because someone on the internet said to. That can be very dangerous to yourself and your pets. There are innumerable kinds of pests around us everyday, everywhere. 99.99999% of them are not invading your body.
