Identifying Vintage Drinking Glasses?

Identifying Vintage Drinking -Glasses? - molded glass with varied patternOur family has had a set of these "Vermont" glasses for as long as I can remember (over 60 years) and there are very few left. They are 10-12 ounce glasses and appear to be cast with the pattern on the outside. Has anyone seen something like this and know if they can be purchased anywhere? We called them "Vermont" glasses because they came from Vermont when they were bought new. Does anyone know anything about this type of glass - just looking to buy some more if they exist.

My grandmother gave me a set of these glasses when I was 17 and had my first apartment. Mine is a bit different than yours but almost the same. I do not have the round circles on mine and mine are just the raised triangle bumps that I see on your glasses. I still have most of mine and think one or two might have gotten broken over the years of being in storage and moving to the islands. I think the only way you will be able to find anything like this anywhere is to visit some old thrift shops and take a look around. From time to time they do have glasses that are similar to yours that might work to replace your set or fill in a few of the broken glasses that you have lost.

Other than this I am not sure where you could even find these. I remember mine came in some sort of a blue carton when my grandmother gave them to me. For some reason, I remember that the from of the box said Montogomery Wards on it and they were called something like cut crystal drinking glass set. Not sure if this is right or not but I do think that was what they were.

These are such beautiful vintage glasses! The closest I could find to this pattern, was a smaller cup. It is the thick-cut glass pressed pinwheel pattern.

The link where I found them is at:

They are so beautiful!

Have a wonderful evening!

Can you put something dark inside the glass so I can see the pattern or can you clarify is it a butterfly? I am sorry for the old eyes--the picture is very blurry on my system and I want to be sure to get you the right pattern name. Thanks bunches! Looking forward to helping!

Someone may be able to give a closer identification if you post more pictures.
Are the glasses as cloudy as the picture looks as most of the vintage glasses are very clear around the top/rim.

I only remember seeing some very inexpensive glasses that turned cloudy like this - many years ago.
You really need to post pictures with a dark background and 2 or 3 showing all angles of the pattern as well as the bottom of the glass (many glasses can be identified by the pattern on the bottom of the glass.
As to finding more of this exact pattern may be like looking for a 'needle in a haystack' as there are thousands of similar glasses listed for sale all over the internet.

I thought these might be Indiana glasses as they made the diamond pattern but all of their glasses were smooth/rounded and not 'rough/sharp' on outside like these.

Wexford/Anchor Hocking probably made more pressed glasses than any other company.
These do resembles the some of the vintage Wexford Anchor Hocking glasses as they were famous for the diamond pattern that is on your glasses but I'm not really sure they made this pattern.

You can check some of these out but I think you'll see that most glasses are very clear so maybe better pictures would help define your glasses.

Etsy always has a lot of these glasses listed for sale but I think you may have to find similar glasses unless Pghgirl can supply more information as I could be all wrong about Anchor Hocking.

I have the exact glass, only 2 left out of 6. I used Google lens and your picture was the only exact one. I love these glasses so much and have been trying for years to buy more, but I guess that you are looking as well.

Good luck
