It looks like a type of moth
It looks like a brown and black hornet--here is a professional photo:
Let me know if yours matches. It looks very close but the photo is not clear enough for me to say 100%
Not too good a picture and bugs change after they die so not sure we can really identify this bug.
Not sure it is a hornet because this bug appears to have a long tail and only the head doesn't look quite the same.
