Information About Figurine?

A topless woman with a basket of flowers on her head.I found this beautiful statue at an estate sale. I would love to know what year it was made, the brand and value. Looks similar to Lladro. I included a picture of the face which shows the number 51 and a marking.

I don't think this is a Lladro figurine. The marking does not look like the brand's name. Here are Lladro Porcelain Figurine Logos and Trademarks: appletreedeals.com/.../ There is no such mark.

I found Llardo Native Woman Figurine:

"Odalisque porcelain stoneware figurine with a basket of flowers on its head and light-colored tunic." Height 76 cm / 29", width 28 cm, length 28 cm.

But your figurine is not identical.
Here you can see the Llardo mark: www.invaluable.com/.../huge-lladro-gres-native-women-29...

Lladró's porcelain pieces will always be marked with the brand's name on the bottom.

Lladro pieces are labeled. Yours is not. Its a knockoff. Enjoy it for what it is.

Your maiden is lovely but does not appear to be Lladro.
I have had several authentic Lladro pieces and all bore the Lladro markings.
This appears to be a Lladro 'knock-off' but still well made.

There has always been companies 'copying' famous brands, as there is usually a big market for these inexpensive 'look-a-likes' because most people could not afford the expensive brands.
