There is a painting very similar to yours that went unsold for $175 in 2001 under the title L. RUFFINI, OIL ON CANVAS 36" X 24" FLORAL. It is almost identical to yours. The frame is slightly different. It was on this site: www.liveauctioneers.com/.../9219458_062357-l-ruffini-oil-on-canvas...

Sadly, it looks like the gallery that had it listed is gone.

Perhaps if you have an art auction house in your town they can sell it for you.

The value was placed between $300-500 in 2001, although as I said, it went unsold at 175.

They don't say what the L stands for related to the name.

It is very pretty.

The style is a Floral Still life. These are often modeled after Italian still life painting that were done throughout history.

I would take it to a dealer and see if the value has changed (10 years is a long time).

Post back what you learn!

This is not a famous artist or expensive painting. I have one similar. Enjoy it anyway.

If you were to do a 'search' for this painting I can tell you there would be hundreds (maybe thousands) of so similar paintings you would have to click on many pictures to make sure it was not like yours.

This style painting is popular but most likely not valuable. Even a well known artist's rendition of this may be low value.
I do not recognize the artist name but if you'll join Reddit and ask your question you'll probably have an answer in a day or so.

After looking for the artist I did find a little more information.
This is a similar picture posted for sale in 2011 asking $175 but did not sell. But actually, the same person had 4 similar paintings for sale with an asking/beginning bid of $175 and none sold. 2011

If you wish to sell, I believe you would have to start your asking price lower than the $175 and shipping will be very expensive.
