Is my dog a full Dachshund or a Chiweenie? She was a stray that I took in, she's friendly with other animals and people, but seems to be a tad skittish. She has a long body, short legs, and loves laps!

If you look up photos of a Dachshund and a Chiweenie I think you'll see that your dog looks more like a full dachshund than a mixed breed. She is definitely adorable. Being a stray you don't know how she's been treated. A lot of love can help her become more trusting and less skittish.
She looks full blooded. You can have a DNA test done to be sure
Sweet face! Especially the houndly profile! Having had Dachshunds and beagles for most of my life I would guess she is either all doxie or has a drop of beagle in her, maybe a generation back as she looks a bit stockier than most of the Doxie types.
Your vet can look at her teeth, hips, bones etc and give a best guess. Some doxies are very skittish. They, along with beagles are very loyal and loving. A challenge to potty training, but basically the best friend you will ever have!
