I got my dog when he was 8 weeks old from a lady who said that he was pure Boxer. She showed me the mom and dad, who definately looked pure Boxer to me, but I'm thinking my dog has a lot of Pit in him.

My parent's had a pure boxer and it looks just like your dog. I think that dog is Boxer for sure and not Pitt at all. I don't see any Pitt in that dog.
The body may be Pitbull. You could have a DNA test done if you want to be certain.
I think without a doubt that your pup is a pit/pit mix! Good for you! They are great dogs contrary to popular belief. My very first dog that I had, on my own as an adult, was a pit mix.God rest his soul.He was Black & White with spots and his spots had brindle coloring that you fur baby has.
