John Deere L110 Mower Won't Start

I can turn the mower from the top, but it will only turn so far then it stops like it's hitting something. It was mowing great then it just stopped. I have never had any trouble out of it. I was told this model was bad about the piston pin coming out and the piston not moving so it won't start or move any more.

some ideas from this site are

- safety switch issues require pressing down the brake pedal fully
- mow at full RPM because machine is not designed to run on less speed
- check drive belts
