Kitchen Implements Organized

Kitchen Implements Organized - hanging from cup hooks on stove ventI was tired of digging through a drawer to find the kitchen tools I needed. Then I got the idea to buy those inexpensive magnetic cup hooks and attach them all around my hood vent. Now the tools are at my finger tips, it looks nice, and I freed up a drawer for something else. I used the drawer for all my spices.

I used to have a system similar to this. The utensils do get dirty and dusty.

I store all of my kitchen utensils on my small island on the bottom shelf; I have a containers for the wooden utensils, spatulas, plastic and non-stick utensils, my two favorite rolling pins are stored at the end of the shelf. I have a large terra cotta roasting pan that was cracked filled with various utensils and I also keep my upright paper towel holder on that shelf. I have a small white cutting board hanging from the side and a small colander hanging on the opposite side of this small moveable island. When I am cooking a lot of recipes, I roll the island up to the stove and counter area so the utensils, cutting boards will be accessible during my cooking process or baking.

I have a large walk in pantry that has a refrigerator, a closet to hold items that are used on special occasions, two shelves that are the length of the room to hold small appliances, cookbooks, plus I have a 3 tiered open shelf that holds baking pans, mixing bowls, parchment paper and my cookware. I hang my cast iron ware on hooks on the closet door frames..the door was removed. Floor space in the pantry is also used to hold bins that hold seasonal items and other kitchen items; I have a 3 drawer plastic unit that holds kitchen towels and other kitchen linens.

I have no situation with them getting dusty or greasy, maybe because I use spatter screens and use my kitchen tools often, even if any got dusty a quick rinse would work, my system works fine for me.
