A plate of Korean grilled wings.Here's an easy to marinate and flavorful grilled wings. You can serve this as an appetizer or make for a main dish with rice. You could also bake this if you want to.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 30-35 minutes

Total Time: 40-45 minutes

Yield: I used 6 lbs of wings (varies depending how you are serving these)

Ingredients:

  • 6 lb chicken wings
  • 3-4 cloves diced garlic
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp diced ginger
  • 1/3 cup Gochujang paste (Korean red chili pepper paste)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/8 cup soy sauce
  • 1/8 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • dash salt & pepper
  • 3 Tbsp sesame oil
Ingredients for Korean grilled wings.
 

Steps:

  1. Dice garlic and ginger.
  2. In a zip loc bag add all ingredients in (besides chicken wings). Seal bag and give it a good gently shake to mix.
  3. Add chicken wings into bag and shake around to coat chicken wings. Marinate in the fridge for an hour.
  4. Ready to grill. You want to flip every 10-12 minutes until chicken is 165 degrees F.
