I'm stuck and don't know where to go from here. I've painted and put new flooring in all the rooms in my home, except for the living room. I can not figure out for the life of me on what color paint to go with. My furniture is a darkish blue, my curtains are a darkish burgundy, and my entertainment center, coffee table, etc. are dark brown wood. What color should I make my walls? They're white as of now, and with 4 kids everything shows up on them.

A light blue/green paint might pull everything together, but it would need careful choice. An oriental type carpet in red, blue and green would really match everything else.
I would choose a linen color. The color is not as crucial as the paint formula. Make sure you get a scrubbable paint. When our daughter was a baby she threw food all over the light walls.
