How and when did you get your pet?
Lucy was found abandoned inside her cat carrier on a winter night outside of a billiard hall. Her finders posted an ad for her furever home, and I've have her ever since.

What does your pet like to do for fun?
She likes to stare at me while I am doing chores and cooking, when she's awake. She loves to look out the front security door and check out what's going on in the neighborhood. She stands and meows until I open the front door for her.

Do you have anything else to share about your pet?
I'm convinced Lucy is a Harvard kitty! She's very intelligent, and can anticipate my every move. She's very patient with me because I have to treat her chronic kidney condition, every other day, with subcutaneous fluids. She knows it makes her feel better the rest of the next two days. She's my BFF.

Awwwww.there she is!

Thank you so much Jess for the link to ljstaalberb's fur baby *Lucy*.

Yes, Lucy is just as cute as can be also in her Wonder Woman costume. What a pretty kitty she is too.

And oh, the sweet little one Lucy, you said she had to get Sub-Q fluids ever other day. I understand, I had a Chihuahua many years ago that had to have that done daily. Were you told by the vet to watch her protein intake? I am thinking the same would be for both dogs and cats, (but, I'm not positive) if it's the same for cats as dogs. Less protein (I was told) was easier on her/my little dog, so I'd mix up nutritious concoctions for her food.

They're both so adorable, and I can tell they love their momma, and their momma loves them.:)

Thank you for sharing your fur family, I enjoyed seeing them.

Thank you so much for your sweet reply! It made my day. Yes, you are right about limiting high protein in their diets, but Lucy only weighs 5.8 lbs, so she eats whatever she wants! Starvation is the leading symptom in chronic kidney disease because cats just simply dont eat. Sad, but true.
