Lump and Numbness from Tongue Piercing?

I got my tongue pierced about two weeks ago. I only had the piercing in for 4 days and decided to take it out because I was feeling numbness at the tip of my tongue and on the left side of my tongue. I am also feeling a pulling sensation at the tip of my tongue when I flex it a certain way, also there is a hard lump inside my tongue right next to where the piercing was. Will any of this go away and is it normal to experience this when getting your tongue pierced? If any of you have experienced this how long did it last for?
