Making Seafood Tostadas

This seafood tostada dish is super exotic with all the beautiful tentacles about! It may look daunting to serve up but it's really, very easy and absolutely delicious.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb shrimp
  • 1/2 lb baby squid
  • 1/2 lb baby octopus
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 large limes
  • 2 tsp cooking oil
  • tostada shells
  • salsa
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1/4 onion, diced
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/3 cup cotija cheese

Steps:

  1. Toss together all the seafood, salt and pepper, juice from one of the limes, and garlic in a large bowl. Heat oil in pan over medium-high heat. Cook seafood for a few minutes until slightly golden on the outside and opaque in the center.
  2. To assemble, take a tostada and add a spoonful of salsa. Top with tomatoes, onions, avocado, and seafood. Sprinkle with cotija cheese and spritz with lime.
